This beach house is directly across from Boughton Island, which is a 300 acre uninhabited island. Boughton Island has a mile long sand spit that touches the doorstep of Bruce Point Cottage. Enjoy a walk to the Island at low tide and explore the woods, white sand beach, and rugged shore line. The island is a nature preserve owned by the Nature Conservancy of Canada and is a haven for blue herons, endangered piping plovers and bald eagles. It is truly a bird watchers paradise.
